With more than thirty years’ experience in the financial sector, in the fields of both corporate and private banking, Chiel Beaumont has fulfilled management, policy and specialist positions. Chiel served, among others, as a member of the Friesland Bank Executive Board, chairman of the Board for SNS Bank Groningen-Friesland-Drenthe N.V. and regional director of SNS Reaal Groep. In 2006, he co-founded investment firm Dijkstra Beaumont Wealth Management (DBWM) in Maarssen where he served as General Director up until end 2017.
Following his officer training at the Royal Netherlands Naval College, Chiel Beaumont fulfilled supervisory operational positions with the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps, including the Marine Intervention Unit (MIU). Chiel studied Dutch Law at the University of Utrecht and joined the (ABN)AMRO Bank in 1986. In addition, Chiel was a member of the Supervisory Board of Stichting Thuiszorg Ommelanden from 1995 to 1999 and a substitute judge in the Northern Netherlands District Court from 2003 to 2021.
Beaumont Capital N.V. is legal successor to DBWM. Chiel serves as General Director.
